Job Description
The Float Pool Night Nurse provides compassionate care, ensuring a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs, responses to care, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely in compliance with privacy regulations.
