Job Description

The clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.

  • Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.

  • Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.

  • Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.

  • Must have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
