This RN position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for post-surgical patients in a 22-room facility.
Responsibilities include assisting with procedures (chest tube insertion, wound vac changes, NG, catheters), assessing patient needs, implementing physician orders, administering medications, and creating care plans.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
The role emphasizes compassionate, competent patient care, collaboration with healthcare teams, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Work shifts are daytime, with a salary range of $36.73 – $60.93 per hour or $76,396.32 – $126,730.61 annually.
