Job Description
The Night Cardiac Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care in a 29-bed cardiology unit, focusing on discharge progress and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care per regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for cardiac and general injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include an RN license in NY, BLS and ACLS certification, with prior nursing or PCA experience preferred.
The role involves working in a unit serving adult to geriatric patients with various cardiac diagnoses requiring telemetry monitoring.
