Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care for patients with complex vascular conditions, including amputations and wounds.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, responds to emergencies, and guides ancillary staff to ensure quality care.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance or prior clinical roles, with ongoing education to improve performance.
Ensures compliance with privacy and safety regulations, handling sensitive health information responsibly.
