Job Description

The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery contributes to a compassionate environment by providing patient-centered care, including implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care.

  • Assesses and interprets diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborates with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care.
  • Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
  • Cross-trains in High Risk Antepartum and Labor & Delivery units, with routine assignments to either.
    The role requires adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies, ensuring sensitive information is protected.
