Job Description
This Registered Nurse position is in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit, caring for post-surgical patients in a night shift role with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 (
$34.65 – $35.69 per hour).
Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as chest tube insertion, central lines, wound vac changes, NG, and catheter management.
Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care, ensuring effective communication and transitions during the hospital stay.
Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
Must demonstrate sound nursing judgment and commitment to ongoing education.
Role involves handling sensitive information following confidentiality policies.
