Job Description
This clinical Nurse role in Labor & Delivery involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and tests, and documents appropriately.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop individualized care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
The role involves maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
