Job Description
This night shift registered nurse position in the Colorectal Surgery & Urology unit involves caring for surgical and general medical patients in a 22-bed med-surg setting.
Assess, plan, coordinate, and manage patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform treatments, and document care according to regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; assess patient needs and responses.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the team to develop and follow patient care plans; guide ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, and 1-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a large trauma or stroke center. Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC is required.
