Job Description
The Clinical Nurse III role in Elective Orthopedics (B3W) involves caring for post-surgical, trauma, and medical-surgical patients on a 24-bed unit focused on orthopedic and joint surgeries.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement concepts.
