Job Description
The Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in care management.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills.
Must handle sensitive information responsibly, ensuring confidentiality per regulations.
