Job Description
This clinical RN role in the General Surgery/Trauma unit involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care according to policies and regulations.
Assessing and evaluating patient conditions through diagnostic tests and providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guiding ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required. The position offers a day shift with a salary range of $72,072.00 – $74,229.26 and an hourly rate of $34.65 – $35.69. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to privacy regulations.
