Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse in General Surgery/Trauma to provide direct patient care, triage, assessment, and care planning under physician/APP supervision.
Obtain and record vital signs, report abnormalities, and document patient history and physical assessments.
Administer medications and participate in in-office procedures with proper documentation.
Review test results, manage patient requests, and facilitate follow-ups.
Utilize resources to meet patient outcomes and quality metrics.
Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and MAs, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Assist in staff orientation, ongoing education, and patient education on health and wellness.
The role may require handling sensitive information, with responsibilities to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and other regulations.
