Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting on 08/31/2025 in Asheville, NC.
Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess patients pre-labor, monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor, and support pain management.
Assist with deliveries, including vaginal births and C-sections, and perform neonatal resuscitation.
Postpartum, monitor recovery, support breastfeeding, and educate families on newborn care.
Document care accurately, communicate with healthcare team, and follow safety protocols.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, managing complications appropriately.
Provide patient education, advocate for patient preferences, and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
Shift is 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, with pay based on shifts and potential tax-free stipends.
