Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
