Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery department works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow plans of care, guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a graduate of a recognized nursing program and current NYS RN license.
The role involves maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
