Job Description

This RN position in Vascular Surgery at M5 involves caring for acute and chronically ill surgical patients, primarily with vascular diseases.

  • Two units with 16 and 20 beds, including private and semi-private rooms, serve patients aged 18-90+.
  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary/emergency care.
  • Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, a current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills.
  • This role emphasizes adherence to privacy regulations and proper handling of sensitive information.
