Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff, ensuring professional standards.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, adhering to privacy regulations, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
