Job Description

The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

  • Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, applying sound nursing judgment.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
  • Requires a nursing diploma or degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
