Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides direct care, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Must hold a current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
Works night shifts with a salary range of $72,072 – $74,229.
Requires knowledge of multiple body systems, especially for patients with vascular conditions, wounds, or amputations.
Participates in ongoing education and quality improvement efforts.
Ensures compliance with confidentiality and sensitive information handling regulations.
