Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool works night shifts to provide compassionate care, demonstrating kindness and active listening to patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates on care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves protecting sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
