Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications: graduate of a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of RN clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality and information protection policies, ensuring sensitive data is accessed and used appropriately.
