Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates on care plans.
Directs ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Experience as a PCA or nursing assistant preferred, with ongoing education for performance improvement.
This role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
