Job Description
Seeking full-time night shift RN for Labor & Delivery and Antepartum, with 3, 12-hour shifts weekly (7p-7:30a), including weekends and holidays. RN will be cross-trained on both units.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Interprets diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for patient care management and provides emergency and primary care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates on patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications include a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate nursing degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are required.
