The Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care during hospital stays, focusing on timely discharge and care transitions.
Provides primary and emergency care, implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Evaluates patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
Salary ranges from $72,072 to $74,229.26, with hourly rates between $34.65 and $35.69, and work shift on weekends during daytime hours.
