Job Description
The Therapy Team Leader supports daily therapy operations and assists the Director by supervising staff, managing scheduling, and ensuring effective communication across departments.
They provide 80-90% patient care within their licensed discipline, foster a positive environment aligned with hospital goals, and promote staff development and performance improvement.
Qualifications include current state licensure (PT, OT, or SLP), BLS certification, and at least three years of clinical or leadership experience. SLPs require CCC certification.
Proficiency with office equipment, Microsoft Office, and physical ability to handle equipment and reposition patients is necessary.
Skills include excellent communication, critical thinking, time management, and independence. The role involves indoor work, potential exposure to blood/body fluids, and flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Adherence to dress code, licensure, and safety standards is required, along with commitment to diversity and emergency response duties.
