Job Description
The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing contingencies and delegating tasks appropriately.
Demonstrates competency in self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership of leaders.
Provides nursing care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, administers medications, monitors effects, and documents care.
Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families.
Requires a BSN preferred, at least 1 year of related experience, RN license, and certifications like BLS; ACLS and PALS are required for specific roles.
New hires must complete orientation and competencies; perioperative experience is preferred. Certifications have specified grace periods based on experience.
Work schedule is TBD; position is full-time.
