Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory care following hospital, state, professional, and federal guidelines.
Requires current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
Preferred 2 years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices; physical ability to lift, push, pull at least 30 pounds, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and positioning.
Must communicate effectively, analyze situations, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Works in a temperature-controlled, indoor environment with occasional outdoor exposure; may encounter blood and body fluids.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work varied shifts, including holidays and disaster response.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
