Job Description

The clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit works night shifts, earning $36.73 to $60.93 hourly ($76,396.32 – $126,730.61 annually).

  • Provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting procedures.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Assesses patient needs, responses to care, and applies sound nursing judgment for management.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop and implement Plans of Care, guiding ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
  • Ensures compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations, handling sensitive information responsibly.
