Job Description
This RN position in the Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) unit offers an opportunity for experienced nurses to provide peri-procedural care for outpatients and inpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities include administering conscious sedation, monitoring hemodynamics, managing critical care patients, and phase 1 anesthesia recovery.
Requires 1-3 years of RN experience, an Associate Degree, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Preferred skills include critical care experience with ACLS/PALS and pediatric experience.
Responsibilities also involve performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills, and adhere to privacy and compliance standards.
