Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate care in the Emergency Department, implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Assesses and evaluates patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment for patient management.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to create care plans.
Guides ancillary staff, maintains professional standards, and ensures quality improvement.
Requires a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
