The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, recognizing the value of each team member’s contribution.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining professional standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, with a focus on confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
