Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, apply sound nursing judgment, and collaborate with the team to develop care plans.
Responsibilities include providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, guiding ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
Candidates must have a nursing degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role requires adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies, especially regarding sensitive patient information.
