Job Description
Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families, ensuring safety and quality.
Requires RN license, 2+ years clinical experience, and BLS certification. Preferred: 2+ years in psych units and BSN.
Works 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, with no on-call.
Responsible for delegating tasks, documenting care, and maintaining patient relationships.
Coordinates care planning, patient education, discharge, and collaborates with the healthcare team.
Utilizes critical thinking, applies the nursing process, and manages complex patient needs.
Demonstrates competency in clinical skills, supports team members, and may serve as relief charge nurse.
Adheres to standards, recognizes complications, and prioritizes workload effectively.
