Job Description

The Operating Room RN assesses, plans, and manages surgical patients’ care throughout their hospital stay, acting as their advocate during procedures.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, evaluating patient needs, and guiding the care team.

  • Ensures a safe, sterile environment, maintains equipment, and upholds patient safety standards.

  • Minimum qualifications: current NYS RN license, BLS certification, with 1-3 years surgical experience preferred.

  • Salary range is $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with an evening shift.

  • Supports quality improvement and adheres to privacy regulations, handling sensitive information responsibly.
