Job Description
The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides patient-centered, comprehensive care by collaborating with the healthcare team and applying evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, supervising staff, communicating care plans, participating in quality improvement, and supporting staff orientation.
Qualifications: RN license (Virginia or reciprocal), minimum 2 years experience, BSN preferred, BLS required at hire, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS within 90 days.
For external temporary RNs, additional certifications like PALS, NRP, CPI, ONS, TNCC, or ENPC may be required within specified timeframes.
