Job Description
The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by collaborating with the healthcare team and applying evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, patient and family education, discharge planning, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Acts as a liaison for policies, participates in staff orientation, and contributes to unit and hospital committees.
Performs assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, and serves as a case manager when assigned.
Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, valid RN license, recent RN acute care experience, BLS and NIHSS certifications, with preferred BSN. Additional certifications may be required based on unit.
The role emphasizes professional practice standards, empowerment, leadership, and continual improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
