Job Description

The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.

  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to improve care quality, incorporating research and evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinates nursing care, supervises staff, and communicates care plans effectively.
  • Participates in quality and performance improvement activities and supports staff orientation.
  • Acts as a resource for policies, procedures, and unit operations to ensure safety and excellence.
  • Qualifications include an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, BLS certification, with BSN preferred.
  • Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required for temporary roles.
