Job Description
The Clinical Nurse on the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient responses.
Orders, interprets, and assesses diagnostic tests to determine patient conditions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Works to ensure patient safety, quality care, and compliance with regulations in a supportive, respectful environment.
