Job Description

The Night Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care during the hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
  • Collaborates with the team to create and follow a comprehensive Plan of Care, guiding ancillary staff and ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, BLS certification, and preferred experience as a PCA or nurse assistant.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.
