Job Description
This clinical Nurse role involves providing compassionate patient care in a Medical/Surgical Hospitalist setting.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for decision-making.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans.
Guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role requires safeguarding sensitive information per HIPAA and applicable laws.
