Job Description
The Nurse Supervisor manages daily clinical operations in the HIV/AIDS program, overseeing staff, clinic workflow, patient triage, and quality initiatives.
Responsible for patient flow and point-of-care testing.
Supervises clinical staff, supports team, and fosters professionalism.
Reviews processes to optimize workflow and billing.
Develops staff, maintains collaboration with the Practice Coordinator, and attends managerial meetings.
Ensures confidentiality and oversees supply and medication ordering cost-effectively.
Maintains compliance with Joint Commission standards and weekly tracer submissions.
Requires an associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), NYS RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
