The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers prescribed medications and collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
