Job Description

The Critical Care Support Services department seeks experienced RN Night shift nurses for a team providing 24/7 critical care support.

  • Salary ranges from $74,484 to $122,907, with hourly rates from $35.81 to $59.09.

  • STAT nurses respond to urgent codes (stroke, MI, anesthesia emergencies, etc.), stabilize decompensating patients, and manage ICU patients on the floor.
  • They use protocols like ACLS and Rapid Response to evaluate and treat conditions such as chest pain, arrhythmias, hypoglycemia, and more.
  • Responsibilities include IV medication administration, staff and patient education, and facilitating higher-level care when needed.
  • Requirements include RN licensure in NY, 3+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and effective communication skills.
  • Candidates must uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information per HIPAA and related regulations.
