Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator Heart Surgery ensures high-quality, patient-centered care during their shift by coordinating nursing functions and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Assists with admissions, discharges, and patient throughput to optimize care and efficiency.
Participates in quality assessments and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Provides leadership in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, fostering teamwork and compliance.
Manages supplies and equipment to ensure optimal resource use.
Requires at least one year of RN experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, with preferred charge or supervisory experience.
Requires an ADN; BSN preferred, and BLS certification within 30 days.
