Job Description
This clinical nursing support role involves communicating with patients and businesses, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining specimens, assessing patients, performing office procedures, and managing supplies.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree and be licensed by the state.
At least one year of experience in a medical office setting is required.
Competent in using glucometers, BP cuffs, thermometers, computers, stethoscopes, audio scopes, medications, and communication tools.
Work in an office environment, able to sit, stand, communicate effectively, and lift over 20 pounds.
Responsibilities include recording medical histories, giving immunizations, counseling patients, managing supplies, coordinating referrals, triaging calls, obtaining prior authorizations, assisting with procedures, observing safety protocols, maintaining lab quality, and coordinating medication supplies.
