Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Case Manager to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the care of patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of healthcare services. This position requires expertise in acute care, ER, and pediatrics, as well as strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will have experience in managed care and utilization management, with a focus on patient assessment and medical records management. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ medical conditions and develop individualized care plans
– Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
– Monitor patients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
– Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
– Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in medical records
– Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure they receive appropriate healthcare services
– Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure proper utilization of healthcare resources
– Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment options

*Qualifications:*
*- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia*
*- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required*
*- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse*

-Strong knowledge of prior authorization packages (DMA-6A and DMA-80) is highly desirable
– Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
– Experience in pediatrics is highly desirable
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Proficient computer skills for documentation purposes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,880.00 – $81,120.00 per year
