Upper Extremity Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Job Description

REF:#108ee1f2ee0fa25f *Upper Extremity / Wrist-Hand-Elbow Orthopedic Physician Assistant needed for a full-time position with an Orthopedic group just outside Norwich, Connecticut.* The Physician Assistant will work directly with one Upper Extremity Surgeon to provide OR First Assist and Outpatient Clinic services to orthopedic patients. Strong new graduate Physician Assistants will be considered. Hiring as of 1/13/2025.

*Physician Assistant – Roles | Responsibilities:*
* Provide First Assist OR and Floor Rounding services at 1 hospital in Norwich, CT.
* Provide outpatient consults, post-surgical follow ups, and injections.
* Work within the following sub-specialty areas: Orthopedic Upper Extremity – Elbow, Hand, and Wrist.
* Order and interpret images, including MRI and XRay.
* Prescribe medication as necessary and/or as directed.
* Provide education to patients and family.
* Utilize and become proficient in EMR (Electronic Medical Records).

*Days | Hours | Compensation | Benefits:*
* 40 hrs/week. Monday – Friday
* No Nights or Weekends
* Some call may be required

Pay: $131,500.00 – $174,500.00 per year
