The job posting is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Highland Care Center, a 320-bed skilled nursing facility. The center is looking for dedicated LPNs to join its staff. Here are the main details:

Compensation and Bonuses:

• Sign-On Bonuses:
  • $3,500 for shifts from 7 am to 3 pm
  • $2,000 for all weekend shifts
  • $2,500 for other shifts
• Pay: Base pay ranges from $30.13 to $41.00 per hour, with a 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care as prescribed by a physician.
• Document resident progress and communicate relevant information about residents to supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Ensure adequate inventory of medications and medical supplies.
• Participate in educational programs for residents and their families.
• Engage in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Current LPN license in New York.
• Preferred experience of at least one year in skilled nursing.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Customer service-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and making independent decisions.
