Job Description

The RN Wound Nurse plays a crucial role in the Nurse Management team, responsible for establishing care standards and policies for effective wound management across clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Physical Therapists. Key duties include:

• Empowering staff to assess wounds and collaborate with physicians.
• Educating on skin integrity and wound healing protocols.
• Overseeing ulcer prevention and management programs, including tracking pressure ulcers.
• Identifying patient needs and communicating with physicians.
• Providing wound care training for new hires and ongoing education.
• Participating in performance improvement activities.

Job Type: Full-time, Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour, with benefits including health and dental insurance. Location: Valley Park, MO, in-person work required.
